Berlin - Geraldo A. Sousa, 75, a former longtime resident of Hudson, died oFriday, Feb. 10, 2012, with his loving family at his side, at Marlborough Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Filomena (Monteiro) Sousa of Berlin.

Westborough - Attorney Robert D. Manning, 85, died peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 in UMass Medical Center. Born Aug. 22, 1926, the son of the late Stanley and Nora (Dowd) Manning, he graduated from Classical High School, attended the University of Massachusetts, and received his Juris Doctor Degree from Boston University. During World War II, he served our country in the United States Navy.

Hudson - Primo J. Borella Jr., 78, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012 at UMass Memorial Healthcare, University Campus, in Worcester. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol A. (Simoes) Borella of Hudson.

Marlborough - Sister Theresa Dick, LSA, 83, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 at Marie Esther Health Center. Sister Theresa was born Jan. 22, 1929 in Des Plaines, Ill. She entered the Congregation of the Little Sisters of the Assumption in 1948 in Pennsylvania and made her final vows in 1956 in Paris, France. Sister Theresa was a registered nurse.

Shrewsbury - Thomas J. Slyman, 73, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012 in UMass Hospital. He is survived by his loving sister, Rosemary Nolle and her husband David, who lived next door to Tom; a nephew, Peter Nolle and his wife Nikole of Worcester; a niece, Jennifer Hill and her husband Michael, both of Worcester; four great-nephews; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Eva Baril.

Westborough - Marjorie (Witham) Healy, 89, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 in the presence of her loving family.

Marlborough - Robert L. Bob Sibley, 78, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his adoring family, Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012 in Concord. He was the beloved husband of Thelma Tiny M. (Peterson) Sibley, with whom he shared 53 amazing years of marriage.

Marlborough - Ralph G. "Grumps" Carpenter, 82, of Marlborough and Boulder, Co., died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, surrounded by family, at his son Randy's home in Hudson.

Hudson - Joseph A. Byra, 65, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2012 at Marlborough Hospital. Mr. Byra had been employed as a systems analyst at TJX Corp. Framingham for 44 yrs. prior to his retirement in 2000. He had the distinction of being the longest tenured employed at the corporation's home headquarters.

Marlborough- Cynthia J. "Cindy" (Woodworth) Golgata, 65, died unexpectedly at her home Monday morning, Feb. 6, 2012. She was the wife ofRichardGolgata, to whom she was married for 44 years. Born in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Carson and Marguerite (King) Woodworth, she had lived inMarlboroughall of her life.

Shrewsbury - Santa R. (DeCaro) Simone, 104, passed away peacefully Monday, Feb. 6, 2012 after a period of declining health. Her husband, Anthony Simone, passed away in 1988.

Shrewsbury - Ralph Groccia, 67, formerly of Millbury, passed away Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 in Marlborough Hospital, with family gathered around him. Born in Worcester, a son of Salvatore and Rose (Perri) Groccia, he graduated from High School and joined the U.S. Army to serve his country during the Vietnam War.

Shrewsbury - Worcester Fire Department Lieutenant, Maurice "Moe" Zingarelli Jr., 59, passed away Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012 in Boston with his family by his side, after being stricken ill earlier in the week in Worcester.

Hudson - Frances M. (Benedetti) Silvestri, 83, a lifelong resident of Hudson, died at her home Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Ernest L. Silvestri, who died in 1998.

Marlborough - John J. Tynan, 78, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northborough. He had been married to his eighth-grade sweetheart, Mary (Fitzgerald) Tynan for 50 years until her death in 2006.

Westborough - Emily M. Collins, 93, passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at the Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehablitation Center. She was married to Joseph Collins for 45 years until his death in 1986.

Stow – Lois A. (Zona) Martin, 65, a resident of Kingston for 39 years and more recently of Stow, died peacefully Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at Concord Health Care Center.

Boston - Lorraine A. (DeStefano) Tegan, 69, formerly of Northborough, passed away at home Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.

Shrewsbury - Joseph L. "Joe" Fitzpatrick, 72, retired police officer for the town of Shrewsbury, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012 in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
