Her offerings include presentations on "Enrichment Activities for Animals in Captivity," "Broad Trends in International Relations," visits from local chefs sharing healthy recipes, and scientists from UMass Medical School leading discussions in bioethics classes. “Marking” a family day for Miracle League

Northborough - The memory of the late Mark Fidrych was honored during the annual "Make Your Mark" family day Aug. 25 at Memorial Field. The event is organized by Fidrych's wife, Ann, to honor her late husband, the former Detroit Tigers pitcher who was also known for his charitable works. Each year, the event raises money for the Miracle League of Massachusetts, which offers children with physical and mental challenges an organized league in which to play baseball. The event, which raised over $30,000 last year, included food, a moon bounce, Blinkee the Clown, a few local sports celebrities and the softball tournament.
