Visit Southborough's Breakneck Hill Conservation Land
Southborough - Although the cows have not yet graced the rolling hills and the grass is yet to turn a lush green, the Breakneck Hill Conservation Land on Breakneck Hill Road has much to offer. Located right off Route 9, this land boasts apple orchards, walking trails, plentiful wildlife, distant views of Mt. Wachusett on a clear day and, coming soon, the resident Belted Galloway cattle. During most of the 18th century, locals say the Breakneck Hill area was referred to as the Cow Commons.
