Barrette and Drewry win spots on Westborough BOS

Westborough – George Barrette and Denzil Drewry have won the race for two spots on the Board of Selectmen (BOS) in the March 6 Annual Town Election. Barrette received 1802 votes, Drewry received 1324 and the third candidate in the race, Andrew Reinach, received 1283. Barrette and Drewry are both former selectmen, while Reinach is a political newcomer. Barrette and Drewry will replace incumbents Lydia Goldblatt and George Thompson.

Julio’s Liquors announces new wine director

Westborough - Julio’s Liquors has announced that Toni DeLuca will be joining its team as wine director, bringing with her many years of experience from her travels studying wine in various regions across the world. A Massachusetts native, DeLuca received her bachelor of science degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., and then moved to Virginia in order to pursue a career with the federal government. While working for the U.S. Department of Justice, she worked part-time in the tasting room at Chrysalis Vineyards, a local winery in northern Virginia. The unique experience motivated her to pursue an education in winemaking full-time.
