Policy on Letters to the Editor

Letters must be signed with a name, address and telephone number for verification (only name and town will be printed). Letters should be sent to [email protected] or mailed to Managing Editor c/o Community Advocate, 32 South St. Westborough MA 01581 and clearly denoted on the envelope or the email subject line as letter to the editor. The editor reserves the right to reject letters on the basis of length, libelous content, suitability and space constraints. Multiple letters from the same person will not be accepted within a 90 day period. “Form letter” submissions, in which the content of one letter is essentially duplicated, will not be accepted. Letters should be 350 words or less. Deadline is 12 p.m. Friday the week before publication. Opinions expressed in the letters to the editor do not necessarily represent the opinion of the Community Advocate management or its advertisers.
