Apple Tree Arts and Claflin Hill premiere ‘Big Serenade Night Out’

Grafton – Apple Tree Arts and Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra (CHSO) will present “Big Serenade Night Out” Saturday, Jan. 26, at 7:30 p.m., the second concert of a three-part chamber music concert series collaboration at the Great Hall, One Grafton Common in Grafton.
The concert features the art of the Wind Serenade, a chamber music form that has been explored and celebrated by many of the great composers of the past 300 years. The program is directed by Paul Surapine, founding, executive and artistic director of the Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra based in Milford and a faculty member of Apple Tree Arts. More than 12 CHSO musicians will perform works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, French composer Charles Gounod and Czech composer Antonin Dvorak.
