Ashland – A Sustainability Day will be held Saturday, June 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., during the Ashland Farmers Market, 125 Front St., on the green across from Ashland Public Library.
Visit energy savings exhibits and sign up for the Ashland Solar Challenge. At Kids Corner, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., make a craft from recycled materials with art teacher Suzie Meeker. Bike to the market then join a bike tour of Ashland. Come for breakfast, stay for picnic lunch while enjoying live jazz and folk at the Old North Music Stage from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Watch a food demo by The Carve. Bring your dull knives, pruning tools, and scissors to Patti for the edge they deserve.
