Fresh baked apple pies at FPC from Sept. 19 – Oct. 11
September 19 - October 11
Stow – First Parish Church of Stow & Acton (FPC) will sell its homemade apple pies (with some safety precautions added) on Saturdays and Sundays, from Saturday, Sept. 19, until Sunday, Oct. 11. Sales will begin at 10 a.m. and will close when the day’s pies are sold or at 1 p.m., whichever comes first. Since FPC will not be able to hold its Harvest Fair this year, jams, jellies, and pickles will be sold as well, along with baked goods as available.
Instead of visiting the FPC apple pie stand, pie purchasers should pull up to the front of the church building, where they will be greeted by masked sellers. Purchasers must also wear masks. Sellers will take payment and place your pies and purchases into the trunk of your car. Pies will be $18 and other products will cost $4 to $18, depending on the jar sizes and contents.
FPC is located at 353 Great Road, Stow, at the intersection of routes 117 and 62. For more information, call the church at 978-897-8149 or visit www.fpc-stow-acton.org. Apples for the pies have been generously donated by Shelburne Farm of Stow.
