Friends of Marlborough Public Library present author David Hanrahan

March 27 @ 7:00 pm

Marlborough – The Friends of the Marlborough Public Library will present author David Hanrahan Wednesday, March 27, at 7 p.m., speaking about his two crime books: Downsize and A Deadly Recollection.

Hanrahan’s first book introduces fictional persona Bill Coine, a retired Massachusetts State Police Detective Lieutenant, who’s lured out of retirement to investigate and solve a case. Or does he? What follows is an exciting and suspenseful ride with clever twists and turns, and a surprise conclusion.

After a beloved local bookie is found dead at a crash site, a hit man turns up dead in a cemetery near a Boston courthouse and a lawyer goes under-ground to protect his own neck. It’s not only a classic whodunit case, but why. Will Bill Coine’s eye for detail be the catalyst which proves that, sometimes, the most obvious  suspects aren’t necessarily the ones that make the  most sense? A prequel to Downsizing, Deadly Recollection, is Coine’s last case as a State cop.

The Marlborough Public Library is located at 35 West Main St. For more information, call 508-624-6900 or visit https://www.marlborough-ma.gov/library-0.
