GRAFTON: New Book Worm Book Clubs for kids begin at Grafton Library

Grafton – The Children’s Room at the Grafton Public Library is pleased to announce new book clubs for kids starting this January 2019. There will be 3 book clubs, organized by grade, that will meet once per month to talk about the book of the month. Patrons can sign up on a monthly basis and do not have to commit to ongoing monthly meetings. Copies of the monthly book will be available to check out from the library.
Join Ms. Sandhya and Ms. Kristin at one of the following grade-appropriate groups:
Kindergarten friends will meet Monday, Jan. 7, at 6 p.m., to read and discuss The Three Little Pigs by Paul Galdone and the True Story of the Three Little Pigs by John Scieszka.
First & Second Grade friends will meet Monday, Jan. 14, at 6 p.m., to discuss Stink the Incredible Shrinking Kid by Megan McDonald. Books will be available Dec. 31.
Third, Fourth & Fifth Grade friends will meet Monday, Jan. 28, at 6 p.m., to discuss The Mouse and the Motorcycle by Beverly Cleary. Books will be available Jan. 7.

Note: children ages 0-7 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all time, while children ages 8-12 must have a parent/guardian remaining in the library.
