Hopkinton – What does it mean to be American? What are the values we share and the principles we aspire to? Hopkinton’s Enter Stage Left Theater will present Americana, a musical revue that explores our American ideals through a distinctly homegrown art form: musical theatre.
Directed by Mark DiCampo and featuring songs from Hamilton, Ragtime, Assassins, Hair, Oklahoma, and many others, Americana is an entertaining yet thoughtful look at our national identity and how it will be defined by the next generation.
Performances will take place at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts, 98 Hayden Rowe Street, Hopkinton, on Aug. 16, 17, and 18, at 7:30 p.m., and Aug. 19, at 3 p.m. Tickets are $22 for adults and $18 for students and seniors, and may be purchased at the door or online at www.HopArtsCenter.org.
