Irresistible irises, daylilies, and hostas with Suzanne Mahler

Hudson – Uncover the beauty and irresistible colors, patterns, and textures of three diverse plant groups that will add pizzazz to your garden! Join horticulturist extraordinaire Suzanne Mahler for her presentation on “Growing Irises, Daylilies, and Hostas” Monday, May 20, at 7 p.m., at the Hudson Senior Center, 29 Church St., Hudson. The event is sponsored by the Hudson Garden Club and open to the public.
Mahler generates excitement for some of the easiest perennials to grow, and offers suggestions for the selection and propagation of special varieties suitable for your garden. She is a lecturer, photographer, and writer of the gardening column “Green Thumbs Up!” Mahler is past president of the New England Daylily Society, is an overseer for Massachusetts Horticultural Society, and her own garden is designated as a National Display Garden for the American Daylily Society.
