Marlborough Chamber of Commerce celebrates 95th anniversary at business awards event

Marlborough – The Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce (MRCC) will kick off the celebration of its 95th anniversary when it bestows its annual Business Awards Friday, March 29, from 6 -10 p.m., at the Riverview Portuguese Club, 13 Port St., in Hudson.
“We are thrilled to recognize all of the nominees and winners of these prestigious awards with our members and guests and have planned a very special, fun evening,” said Robert Schlacter, the new president and CEO at MRCC. “These individuals are recognized by their peers as having a major impact on the businesses and local communities we serve.”
The nominees for the business awards are: Business of the Year: Boston Scientific, Crossroads School and Main Street Bank; Small Business of the Year: AFC Urgent Care, Bowditch and Dewey and Marshall Insurance; Business Person of the Year: Steve Lutch, Tim Nelson and Lucy Servidio; and Entrepreneur of the Year: Brave Heroes, Fox Ballroom Dance Studio and Kits for Kids.
The evening will include a buffet dinner and dancing with a 1970s disco theme. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in the style of the disco era. Tickets for the event are $60 per person if purchased by March 10; $65 per person thereafter.
