Marlborough – Romantic Masters and their Muses takes place Thursday, Aug. 9, from 6:30-8:15 p.m., at the Marlborough Public Library. Concert pianist Robyn Carmichael will present a unique introduction to the Muses who inspired Chopin, Mendelssohn, Liszt, and Schumann to compose their masterpieces. This distinctive program for adults will bring you closer to the hearts of these great composers and their historical context through the use of music, poetry readings, storytelling, and visual aids.
