Marlborough – The Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce (MRCC) will host its 45th annual Golf Classic, one of the longest running golf tournaments in the Marlborough area, Monday, July 29, at the Marlborough Country Club, 200 Concord Road.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. followed by a golf warm-up, provided by Orangetheory Fitness at 8 a.m. Shotgun start is at 8:30 a.m. and the tournament will be a scramble format. Competitions include “Hole in One” and “Beat the Pro” contests. There will also be post-golf activities, including a cocktail hour, award ceremony, raffle, silent auction and dinner starting at 2 p.m. There will also be activities for non-golfers. The fee for participation in the Golf Classic is $195 per person; $760 per foursome. Entry fee includes green fees, cart, continental breakfast, dinner, awards, auction and raffle. Each player will receive a MRCC annual Golf Classic gift. Dinner for non-golfers is $35.
