Marlborough 10K racers run scenic course

Marlborough/Hudson – After howling at the moon at the Kelleher Field starting line, about 200 runners ranging in age from 15 to 64 turn onto the Assabet River Rail Trail for the third annual Running with the Wolves 10K Road Race, presented June 15 by the Highland City Striders (HCS). The course continued on the scenic trail to Hudson, then back to its starting point for a stadium finish in Marlborough. Andy Greene of Leicester finished first overall in 35:23. Finishing in 41:28, Claudia Shulz of Somerville was the first female to complete this race for the second consecutive year, beating her own female course record of 42.20. HCS welcomes new members.
