NORTHBOROUGH: Fun, food and more at Church of Nativity’s Fall Festival
September 15, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Northborough – As part of Applefest, the Church of the Nativity, 45 Howard St., Northborough, will hold its annual Fall Festival Saturday, Sept. 15, from 12-4 p.m., with some pre-event activities starting at 10 a.m. to support the 5K Roadrace runners.
The festival is open to the community and will feature great food, live performances including a DJ, magic show, live band, Joe the Storyteller, and Ed the Wizard. Crafters will exhibit their creative goods; there will be a bake sale and “Attic Treasures”; and plenty of activities for all, from face painting to a petting zoo, a monkey bridge (courtesy of the Boy Scouts), children crafts, sports mascots and Aunt Parsnips the Clown. Local authors will also join to dedicate their books.
This year, the church will add a “Nativity Bucks” table. Visitors will be able to purchase tickets for a chance at winning gift baskets, original artwork and other prizes such as Red Sox tickets, tennis lessons and gift certificates.
“We are so glad to be an integral part of the Applefest this year,” said Pastor Chad McCabe. “Experience fun for the whole family and bring the kids out to enjoy a day of joy with bouncy houses, and so many other happenings.”
He invited the community “to come on out for a day of wholesome family fun that is uplifting and exciting!”
