Northborough Historical Society’s Museum opens for spring season

Northborough – The Northborough Historical Society’s Museum will open for the spring season on Sundays, May 5 through June 30, from 2-4 p.m. The museum is located on the corner of 50 Main and School streets in Northborough.
On May 5 there will be an exhibit of old photographs displayed in the meeting hall and refreshments will be available. On Mother’s Day, May 12, the first 20 mothers will receive a rose while visiting the museum.
On June 1 and 2 the Art Guild will host their annual Art Show and on Saturday, June 1st at 2:00, Glen Campbell will give an informal organ recital and answer questions about the 1874 George Stevens pipe organ.
Exhibits in the Museum include Northborough’s industries, early schools, music, medicine, colonial and native American artifacts and local sports with a tribute to Mark Fidrych. New this season is a special exhibit on a Northborough military family designed by intern Elizabeth Gitschier. Admission to the Museum is free.
