Practicing Meditation for Well-Being series at Northborough Library

Northborough – Join the Northborough Free Library Wednesday evenings, Sept. 11 to Oct. 30, from 6:30-7:45 p.m., for a new 7-part series: Practicing Meditation for Well-Being and Happiness with Academic Dr. Dhanjoo Ghista. This program will feature meditation techniques so that you can connect and feel one with cosmic consciousness and feel happiness and inner peace. In this group meditation, Dr. Ghista will show us how to clear the mind, imparting a deep peaceful feeling. With practice, this process also induces biological regeneration and psychosomatic healing, which promotes well-being and happiness.
Following the guided meditation portion of the program, all those who wish to will be welcome to stay to for an optional 15 – 30 minutes of informal discussion about our meditation experiences and shared interests leading to a better frame of mind, health and well-being.

All proceeds will go to the Northboro Food Pantry to help those in need in our community. Cash or checks payable to the Trustees of the Northborough Free Library will be gratefully accepted at the main checkout desk prior to Sept. 11.
