Shrewsbury – “A Walking Tour of the Shrewsbury Town Common” will be presented Saturday, Sept. 29, from 10-11 a.m., weather permitting, by the Shrewsbury Historical Society. This event is free, but participation is limited to the first 30 attendees.
Experience Shrewsbury’s past with a unique personally guided walking tour of the Town Common with the President of the Shrewsbury Historical Society, Erik Larson. Participants should meet at the 1830 Brick Schoolhouse, located next to the First Congregational Church on the Town Common. In case of rain, meet inside the 1830 Brick Schoolhouse to tour the Shrewsbury Historical Society Museum and view a Power-point presentation.
