Symphony Pro Musica to perform concerts in Hudson and Southborough

Region – Symphony Pro Musica, led by Music Director Mark Churchill, presents its third performances of the season Saturday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m., at Hudson High School, 69 Brigham St., and Sunday, March 17, at 3:30 p.m., at the Putnam Family Arts Center, St. Mark’s School, 25 Marlboro Rd., Southborough.
Entitled “Sacred and Profane,” the program features Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana” and Antonin Dvořák’s “Te Deum.” The vocal soloists are Elaine Daiber, soprano; Ryne Cherry, baritone; and Patrick Starke, tenor. SPM will be joined by the New World Chorale and the Worcester Children’s Chorus.
Mark Churchill has conducted Symphony Pro Musica (SPM) since its founding in 1983. The orchestra regularly partners with choral groups, dance ensembles, opera companies, and others, and features both rising young and established soloists.
Students are always able to attend SPM concerts at no charge. Adult tickets are $25, senior tickets are $20, and group rates are available.
