Tween Arts Exploration at Marlborough Library
July 1 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Marlborough – This summer the Marlborough Free Library is offering a special series of creative opportunities just for kids who are “in between.” The weekly projects will encourage tweens (ages 8-13) to express their unique points of view and cultural backgrounds through writing, visual art, and food. The group’s creations will be displayed at the final exhibit in August. Learn more and find the full list of events at bit.ly/MPLTweenArts.
The next event in the series will be Zines for Tweens Monday, July 1, from 2-4 p.m. Learn all about the world of zines and create your own using our art supplies, magazines, and copy machine. Please pre-register.
Tween Arts Exploration is brought to you with federal funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
The Marlborough Public Library is located at 35 West Main St., and parking is in the back on Witherbee Street. For more information, call 508-624-6900. For times and days of events, or to register online, visit http://bit.ly/MarlboroughLibraryEvents.
