WELLESLEY: ‘On-Campus with Kids: Supporting Student Parents in Higher Education’ presentation
October 4 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
Wellesley – There are 4.8 million undergraduate students in the U.S. who are raising dependent children, according to a 2014 report from the Institute for Women’s Policy Research. So, what are colleges and universities doing to support those non-traditional students, and what can they do better? This topic will be explored during the program, “On-Campus with Kids: Supporting Student Parents in Higher Education,” hosted by the Wellesley Centers for Women Thursday, Oct. 4, from 12:30-1:30 p.m., in Room 413 of the Lulu Chow Wang Campus Center at Wellesley College. This program is part of the Centers’ biannual Lunchtime Seminar Series.
The Lunchtime Seminar Series at the Wellesley Centers for Women is free and open to the public. Guests are invited to bring their lunches, and the Centers will provide tea and coffee.
