Reliant Medical Group looking for gout study candidates

Region – The Research Department at Reliant Medical Group (formerly Fallon Clinic) is conducting a clinical research study for people who have been diagnosed with gout and cardiovascular disease.
Candidates who may qualify include men 50 years of age or older, women 55 years of age or older, have been diagnosed with gout and have a history of major cardiovascular disease (stroke, blocked arteries, diabetes, etc.). Candidates do not have to be Reliant Medical Group patients and health insurance is not a factor.
Participants selected for the study will receive study-related medication and study-related medical care at no cost. Compensation for time and travel may also be available for those who qualify.
Because this study is part of a larger national study, patients interested in receiving more information or checking qualifications should contact Reliant Medical Group's Research Department as soon as possible because space is limited. The Research Department can be reached at 508-852-0600, ext. 73257 or ext. 73057, or at research.recruitment@reliantmedicalgroup.org.

  1. I am interested in participating in your research study for nonsmokers. I am 58 years, non-hispanic white female. I am a non-smoker, smoked maybe 3 cigerettes as a teenager.
