American flag retirement ceremony held during Scout Day

American FlagHudson – As part of Scout Day, the Hudson Girl Scouts will be conducting an American Flag Retirement Ceremony Saturday, June 1, at 2 p.m. at the Hudson Elks, 99 Park St. This ceremony is open to the public and any American flags in need of retirement can be brought to the Hudson Elks that day.

There will be opportunities to learn more about scouting and Girl Scouts and to sign up for early registration for next year. Additional activities will include a bake sale and children's crafts, such as bubble wands and stomp bottle rockets. The Hudson Boy Scouts will also participate in the day.
