Westborough – The Westborough Community Land Trust invites the public to discover mushrooms and other fall fungi on a walk with mycologist Larry Millman Sunday, Sept. 25 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. (rain or shine).
Millman is the author of “Fascinating Fungi of New England,” the first-ever guidebook devoted exclusively to New England species. He will focus on mushroom ecology and mushroom identification rather than on edibility.
Those wishing to attend should meet at the Headwaters Conservation Area (Mill Pond School parking lot). It will be a slow walk on woodland trails with mild hills. Space is limited to 18. Contact [email protected] to sign up or for more information.
