Westborough – The Westborough Community Thanksgiving Dinner team announced its 46th annual free community gathering Thursday, Nov. 24, at 1 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 17 Willow St., Westborough. A traditional Thanksgiving Dinner of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegetables, cranberry sauce, apple cider, and pumpkin pie and assorted desserts will be served. Reservations are required by calling 508-366-3000. Free transportation may be scheduled if necessary.
Again this year, a broad coalition of organizations from across the Westborough community will be coming together to sponsor this event. In addition to the Knights of Columbus and the Westborough Council on Aging, In Your Shoes, Friends of Westborough, Lions Club of Westborough, Supporters of the Westborough Senior Center, WASA, Westborough Civic Club, Westborough Girl Scouts-Girl Scouts of Central & Western MA, and the Westborough Rotary Club; also, the Westborough Professional Firefighter’s and the Westborough Superior (Police) Officer’s Associations. The Women of St. Luke’s and Westborough Women’s clubs will both be providing dessert.
