Friends of the Grafton Library to host annual Spring Egg Hunt April 8

Grafton – The Friends of the Grafton Public Library will host their annual Spring Egg Hunt at the Grafton Common Saturday, April 8, with start times of 10 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. The Easter Bunny has promised he’s coming to the Grafton Common, so parents be sure to bring your camera for photos -and a basket to gather those eggs.

Tickets are now available at the Grafton Public Library. Tickets are $4 and will not be sold the day of the event. Participants are asked to be on time as latecomers cannot be accommodated. There are a total of 192 tickets available for purchase.

The Egg Hunts start promptly so be sure to line up in time to hand in your tickets at the gate. Print your child’s name and phone number on the back of the ticket to enter our raffle – two raffle prizes will be awarded at each hunt. Each child will hunt for six candy-filled or toy-filled eggs; a golden egg means two extra special prizes. There are three gold eggs at each hunt.

As in years’ past, after the hunts, the children are invited to walk over to the library to listen to springtime stories and do some fun crafts in the Children’s Room. Kids can also recycle eggs at the recycling center.

Proceeds benefit library programs. Friends of the Grafton Public Library membership is open to the public; brochures are available at the library.
