Grafton students attend Discovery Museum program
Grafton students enjoy the “Physical Changes of Matter” program.

Grafton – The second graders at Millbury Street Elementary Street recently were captivated by Ms. Stella from the Discovery Museum in Acton who presented the “Physical Changes of Matter” program. She visited each class where the children furthered their study about solids, liquids and gases and the different change cycles they go through.

They participated in many experiments which included changing ice to another form of matter, watching Ms. Stella use dry ice to make it sublimate and lastly observing the effect that liquid nitrogen had on various objects.

The SGPTO helped to make this program possible.
