Northborough – James H. Priest II, 72, died suddenly on Saturday April 30, 2011 at Marlborough Hospital.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years, Elaine M. (Davis) Priest; his beloved daughter, Jayne Weakley and her husband Jeff of Chester, N.H; 3 sons, John Priest and his wife Ellenore of Dartmouth, James Priest III and Ellen of Northborough, Christopher Priest and his wife Marybeth of Hudson; 7 grandchildren, Jordan, Shane, Cameron, Janelle, Bailey, Patrick, Ava Rose; cousins, nieces and nephews. James was a graduate of Newton High School and Central New England College. He enjoyed vacationing for 19 years in Aruba – Jim and Elaine's “second home.” He was an avid Boston sports fan, and loved boxing. James was heavily involved in Northborough's youth hockey and baseball programs. He loved puzzles of all kinds, and spending time with his family.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from 4-7 p.m. at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street. James's funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Bernadette's Parish, 266 Main Street. Burial will follow at Howard Street Cemetery.
