William Roman Jr., 26Shrewsbury – William “Billie” Roman Jr., 26, formerly of Marlborough, died Monday July 4, 2011 at UMass Medical Center.

Born in Framingham and raised in Marlborough, he was the son of William Roman Sr. of Puerto Rico and Luz D. (Ramirez) Roman of Shrewsbury. After graduating from Marlborough High School in 2003, he worked as a tax preparer with his family business, International Multi Services of Marlborough.

He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He loved baseball and music, and enjoyed playing the drums. Above all, he was a happy-go-lucky guy known for his caring nature. He was fun, lighthearted, and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, he leaves his twin sister, Michelle Roman; a brother, Joshua E. Roman; and his stepfather, Jose. Y. Perdomo, all of Shrewsbury. He also leaves his maternal grandfather, Jose Ramirez of Marlborough; his paternal grandmother, Juanita Davila of Puerto Rico; and his beloved niece, Vivian Gonzalez of Shrewsbury, as well as many uncles, aunts and cousins.

Funeral services will be private. Calling hours will be held Saturday July 9, from 7 to 10 p.m. at Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough. All are invited to sign the online guestbook at www.CollinsFuneral.com.
