Michael J. Marsden, 69, of Uxbridge/Grafton

Michael J. MarsdenUxbridge/Grafton – To the many friends and family of Michael Marsden it is with great sadness that I have to announce that he passed away suddenly after a brief illness, on April 21, 2024.

Michael was born September 17, 1954 to John and Thelma (O’Rourke) Marsden.

Michael leaves behind his wife of 41 years, Roberta (DeWolfe) Marsden, a son, Stephen R. Marsden of England UK and daughter Kaila E. Marsden of Monterey, CA and stepson Michael V. Crete of Worcester, MA. Michael also leaves behind two brothers, Gary Marsden of Florida, Jeffery Marsden of Whitinsville, MA and sister Karen (Marsden) Olander. He also leaves five nieces and nephews, and five grandchildren.

He was a Licensed Electrician for many years, working for Bay State Abrasives in Westboro, MA and up until 3 years ago American Steel and Aluminum in Auburn, MA.

He enjoyed working on his truck and going out in his canoe fishing whenever he could. He had various hobbies like adding to his never-ending tool inventory, trying to mow grass in our yard that didn’t seem to want grass but instead preferred moss, but he finally won the battle at least in the front yard and got his grass! Back yard was still a work in progress.

Mike had lots of friends, some new, others life-long, even though the years of not seeing each other were still remembered, and everyone would surely have a story to tell about the times they had with him. He will be missed by those who knew him and by family who had loved him.

It was his wish that there be no funeral or calling hours, instead would be cremated, and a private burial would be later.

Roney Funeral Home of North Grafton assisted with arrangements.
