Judith K. WysockiDeland, FL – Judith K. (Smallridge) Wysocki, 84, of Deland, FL and formerly of Shrewsbury, MA, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.

She leaves her devoted children, Robert P. Wysocki, Jr. and Melinda Leach and her husband Brian; her grandchildren, Robert P. Wysocki, III, Joseph Wysocki, Alexis Wysocki, Jordyn Wysocki, all of Missouri, Kevin P. Carey, Jr. and his wife Courtney, Justin Leach, and Ashley Leach, all of Florida; three step-grandchildren, Christina Haas, Amber Adams, and Faith Rios, of Missouri; along with many nieces and nephews: Russell Wall, Jr. and his wife Robin, Stephen Wall and his wife Joy, Richard Wall and his wife Denise, Jeffrey Wall (late wife Deborah), Valerie Turney and her husband Jack, Tracy Wall, and Kelley Pillow and her husband Terry. Judith was soon to be great-grandma to Emersyn and Avery. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert P. “Bob” Wysocki, Sr.; and her parents, Charles W. and Lucille (Slider) Smallridge.

Judith was born in Akron, Ohio, and attended Magnolia High School in New Martinsville, West Virginia. She later attended and graduated from W. Liberty State College in West Virginia. Before retiring to Florida with Bob, Judith spent much of her life raising her two children. She also worked as a cashier at the World Famous Spags Supply in Shrewsbury for 10 years, Liberty Mutual Insurance as a clerk, and NorthEast Airlines as a flight attendant.

In her free time, Judith enjoyed sewing, bowling, tap dancing, and traveling, especially cruising.

Judith had a huge heart and was always helping those less fortunate. She supported the ASPCA, St. Jude, and would give back to local organizations as well. During the pandemic, Judith used her expertise in sewing to make masks for healthcare workers.

Her fun and loving spirit afforded her many friends in her lifetime, some that have passed on. Her two closest friends are Kathy Grana and Betty D’Ericco.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Judith’s family from 5:30 – 7:00 PM on Friday, May 3, 2024 at the BRITTON-SHREWSBURY FUNERAL HOME, 648 Main Street, Shrewsbury, MA. A prayer service will be held at 10:30 AM in the funeral home on Saturday, May 4th, with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury.
