June P. Johnson, 74Marlborough – June P. (Bartlett) Haddad Johnson, 74, died Saturday July 23, 2011, at St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham, after an illness.

She leaves her husband of 19 years, Clyde “Dutch” Johnson; a son, Kuson J. “K.J.” Haddad Jr. of Woburn; and a daughter, Theresa Frias and her husband, Michael, of Marlborough; two sisters, Marie Palaima of Dedham and Claire Yanchewski of Maynard; a brother, Richard Bartlett of Roanoke, Va.; and three grandchildren, Julia Frias, Evan Frias and Ryan Frias, all of Marlborough. She was the wife of Kuson J. Haddad, former mayor of Marlborough, who died in 1988, and sister of the late Leo Bartlett, Rita Hakala, William Bartlett and Edward Bartlett.

Born in Marlborough, daughter of the late Edward D. and Helen F. (Lamoureux) Bartlett, she was a lifelong resident of Marlborough. She was a 1955 graduate of the former St. Michael's Academy of Hudson.

Mrs. Johnson was the former manager of the J and T Package Store of Marlborough for more than 20 years, and was previously the office administrator for the Eaton Wright Line Business of Worcester for more than 15 years. She was a two-term city councillor of Ward 3 of Marlborough during the 1980s, and also gave of her time on various city committees, including the Mayor's Charity Ball and Dinner. A longtime member of the Marlborough Junior Women's Club and a past member of the Sweet Adelines, she was a former member of St. Ann's Church, where she was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality. She also gave of her time to various committees at the church. She was instrumental in establishing Supportive Living Inc. of Woburn (S.L.I.), and was one of its first directors.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 27, at 10 a.m., at the John P. Rowe Funeral Home Inc., 57 Main St., Marlborough, with a Mass at 11 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery of Marlborough. Calling hours are Tuesday July 26, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Supportive Living Inc.
