Worcester – Looking for an upbeat alternative to the Nutcracker? Introducing Holiday Spectacular, a new Christmas tradition created and arranged by Diane Kelley of Diane Kelley Dance Studio of West Boylston. Performances will be held at the Hanover Theater Dec. 2 and 3.
All members of the community are invited to dance and sing to old favorites and new classics. Auditions for Holiday Spectacular will be held Sept. 11 at the Hanover Theatre, 2 Southbridge St., Worcester, with an open call for performers from age 3 to adult. Dancers may audition for ballet, jazz and/or tap (bring appropriate shoes). Vocalists should come prepared to sing one or two Christmas pieces. The audition fee is $10 and registration forms are available online at www.dianekelleydance.com.
