Northborough – W. Jean Robbins, 74, died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011 following complications from diabetes.
She leaves behind her three sons, Craig Robbins and wife Ronda of Leicester and Thomas and Jim Brown, both of Northborough; six grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. She is predeceased by her biological father, William Roberts, and Richard and Katherine Miller.
Born in Knoxville, Tenn. and raised in Brockton, she had lived in Northborough since 1960.
Ms. Robbins was a model for American Optical in Southbridge in the 1960s, and was a legal secretary for several lawyers, including attorneys Gerald Norman and Neil Davis. She loved animals, enjoyed traveling, sewing and reading.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, Oct. 6, from 1 to 2 p.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough, with a funeral service at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Howard Street Cemetery.
