Southborough – Christine M. (Zelesky) Woods, 65, a longtime Southborough resident, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2011 at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham.
Mrs. Woods was a 1963 graduate of St. Stephen High School and a 1966 graduate of St. Vincent's School of Nursing , both of Worcester. She later continued her education and graduated from Framingham State College in 1996.
She was an Occupational Health Nursefor Dow Chemical in Marlborough for over 22 years, retiring in December 2010. She was a member of St. Matthew Church of Southborough and enjoyed traveling and spending her summers in York , Maine. As a devoted mother and grandmother, her greatest joy was spending time with her family
She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Donald P. Woods of Southborough; her children, Cheri Wilson and her husband Jonathan of Dover, N.H., Michael Woods and his wife Andrea of Woburn, and Karen Woods of Tewksbury; a sister, Carolyn Urban and her husband James of Southborough; four brothers, Vincent Zelesky and his wife Aileen of Worcester, Paul Zelesky of Southborough, John Zelesky and his wife Ellen of Worcester, and James Zelesky and his wife Nancy of Hiram, Maine; five grandchildren, Emily and Ian Wilson and Jacey, Darren and Dylan Woods; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Nov. 3, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St. (Route 30), Southborough. A Mass of Resurrection will be held Friday, Nov. 4, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Matthew Church, Highland Street, Southborough. Burial will be private.
