Northborough – Northborough Recreation has announced the winner of its second annual art contest. Neo Liu, a kindergartner in Northborough, submitted a creative mixed media (paint, construction paper, glitter, markers, etc.) two-dimensional snowman scene that was “bright, colorful and fun.”
Northborough Recreation announced the art contest earlier this fall and received over 40 submissions from children ranging from kindergarten through grade 5.
Neo's artwork will be displayed on the cover of Northborough Recreation's winter brochure, which will be mailed out to all Northborough residents the week of Thanksgiving. If you are not a resident, you can pick up your copy at the Northborough Recreation office, located at 63 Main St. (ground floor) in Northborough. It will also be available online at www.northboroughrecreation.com.
