He leaves his beloved wife of 57 years, Rose Santoro; his daughters, Maria Lorito and her husband Angelo of Burlington, Jacqueline Santoro and her partner Robert Magli of Upton, and Anna Smith and her husband Robert of Westborough; his grandchildren, Nicholas Bassi, Tara Bassi, Kristin Smith and Joseph Smith, whom he cherished and loved so deeply; his former son-in-law, Frank P. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins of Sicily, Italy, and a host of friends in Italy, New York and Massachusetts.
Born in Sicily. Italy, he was the son of Alberto and Mattia Santoro. He worked as mason and was an extremely dedicated and hard worker.
Mr. Santoro took great pride in spending time with his four grandchildren and tending to his vegetable garden. He enjoyed sharing his love of gardening with his grandchildren when they were young. It was special for him to share his fruit of labor with his neighbors, just as he shared his love and generosity with all his family and friends.
From his family: Dad, Grandpa, “relax,” “take it easy,” “slow down!” We all love you very much and you are deeply missed!
