Rangers, Hawks battle for position

The sixth-seeded Hudson Hawks girls soccer team hosted the 13th-seeded Rangers at HHS's Morgan Bowl for a Central Mass District 1 quarterfinal game. After a hard-fought contest, the game ended tied at 0-0. Then, after two successive 10-minute sudden victory overtime periods in which neither team could score, the game went to a penalty kick shootout. WHS prevailed 3-2 to continue their post-season progress from the last seed.
