Marlborough – Marlborough Senior Center, 250 Main St., will host a Winter Solstice Celebration with Roger Tincknell Thursday, Dec. 29, at 2 p.m.
The performance by Tincknell is designed for families with children of all ages. The Winter Solstice Celebration includes traditional and familiar songs from Chanukah, Christmas and other holiday traditions. In addition, the program will also have multicultural songs of light, interactive children's songs and seasonal sing-a-longs. The program is performed on a variety of instruments, such as guitar, mandolin, banjo, harmonica and drums and involves the audience in singing, dancing and playing percussion instruments.
