May the force be with them
Shrewsbury – Fartham Ikram, 5, learns how to handle a laser sword during a Jedi Training Workshop, offered Jan. 7 by the Shrewsbury Recreation Department at Floral Street Elementary School. Throughout the three-hour workshop, children ages 5 to 10 participated in activities with a “Star Wars” theme, such as making a droid with recycled materials and learning what it's like to be a Jedi knight.
