Region – Today is Tuesday, Feb. 28. On this day in 1953, Cambridge University scientists James D. Watson and Frances H.C. Crick announced that they had determined the structure of DNA, the molecule containing human genes. Today is also the birthday of legendary race car driver, Mario Andretti, who was born in 1940.
