Northborough – For the second year in a row, the Rotary Club of Northborough presented an automated external defibrillator (AED) to a location in Northborough. This year the AED was given to the Northborough Senior Center. Kelly Burke, director of the Northborough Senior Center, accepted the AED.
Funding for the AED was made possible by donations raised by the club, which were then matched by Rotary District 7910 Simplified Matching Grant funds.
Northborough Rotarians have received similar grants every year for the past eight years. Last year, an AED was donated to the Lincoln Street Elementary School in Northborough.
