“Baroque Unplugged”: hear the music of Bach, Handel come to lifeWorcester – Salisbury Singers, a critically-acclaimed chorus serving central Massachusetts, will perform “Baroque Brilliance” Saturday, April 21, at 7:30 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster St., Worcester.

Get unplugged from your mobile devices and experience the exhilaration of a live performance that venerates faith and the renewal of life and celebrates triumph and resurrection through the brilliance of the Baroque period's leading composers, J.S. Bach and George Frideric Handel.

Accompanied by the Bach Consort of Worcester, the evening will feature two magnificent masterpieces: Bach's Cantata 4, Christ lag in Todesbanden, and Handel's Dettingen Te Deum.

The Salisbury Singers are led by Michelle Graveline, music director, and Joshua Rohde, assistant conductor. Guest soloists will be Monica Hatch (soprano), Pamela Dellal (mezzo-soprano), Murray Kidd (tenor) and Dana Whiteside (baritone).
