Dear Editor:
The Friends of the Northborough Senior Center would like to thank the Northborough community for making us one of the largest collector of used books, CDs, DVDs, and videocassettes in the state. Our Got Books? collection bin, located behind the Central One Credit Union at 148 Main Street in Northborough, has become an important fundraising tool for our organization, which helps the Northborough Council On Aging provide social services and emergency aid to the town's older residents. We also support activities and programs at the Northborough Senior Center.
For anyone who was not aware of our Got Books? bin, all of the books, CDs, and videos that are deposited into the bin get converted into cash for our organization. Whether you are spring cleaning or just doing an overall purge, instead of throwing away these items consider donating them to us by dropping them off in our bin. To everyone who has already contributed these materials, thank you so much and keep them coming!
