Region – Once again, Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School (AVRTHS) in Marlborough will be running a Career Discovery Camp for one week in August.
“This is a unique camp where a young adult can discover a passion and join our talented camp counselor team (a.k.a. dedicated and fun loving AVRTHS staff) for an exciting, fast-paced technical experience like no other,” said Carolyn Madzar, Camp Director.
Camp offerings are based on several of AVRTHS” technical day programs: Culinary Arts, Metal Fabrication, Design & Visual Communications, Precision Machining, Auto Collision, Biotechnology, and, new this summer, Cosmetology. Campers will enjoy team building on real world projects, develop and hone technical skills, and participate in fun games and activities.
