Marlborough – The Wayside Racquet and Swim Club will host the 2nd Annual Zumba For Life Sunday, April 29, as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Marlborough Hudson. Doors open at 5 p.m. and dancing kicks off at 6 p.m. Zumba is the latest fitness craze to sweep America, combining Latin-inspired dance moves and a fusion of Latin and international music into high-energy classes that feel more like a party than a dreary workout.
The Zumba for Life event is a two-hour Zumba extravaganza, set to Latin inspired music. The event will feature Zumba instructors from Marlborough and Hudson (Claudia Chaves, Jeanine Ruffing, Ali Rheaume, Constas, Meghan Hughes, Robin Amelia and Rakel Hjaltadottir), while raffles, vendors, a cash bar and spectator seating round out the festive atmosphere.
