Marlborough – The Marlborough Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) has agreed to support the Marlborough Youth Baseball Association (MYBA) in the form of matching grants to employ a general manager (GM) to spur regional youth sports tourism and create momentum, which will ultimately benefit the residents of Marlborough.

The grant will be used to increase the level of instruction provided to MYBA players, increase player registrations, increase fundraising and sponsorships, and continue improving the facility.? It will also provide for a dedicated individual to promote the youth baseball facilities to entities seeking hosts for regional tournaments.
