Marlborough-The Marlborough Rotary Club will host “Italian Night,” on Wednesday, May 22, 5 to 8:00 p.m. at Hellenic Hall, Saints Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church, 9 Cashman St. (at the corner of Central Street).
This family-friendly event will feature food, drink, and desserts to suit everyone's taste, including antipasto, pasta, meatballs, bread, snacks, and desserts, all prepared from scratch by Rotary members. A cash bar, offering a selection of table wine and beer expertly paired with the meal, will also be available.
The fundraiser will benefit a variety of charities supported by the Rotary Club, including scholarships for graduating seniors. To add to the excitement, there will be a raffle featuring Red Sox tickets and a Martha's Vineyard getaway.
Tickets are $7.50; $6.50 for seniors. They are available from any Rotarian or at Marlborough Savings Bank's main office, 81 Granger Blvd.
“We look forward to entertaining our friends and neighbors, and plan to make this an evening to remember,” said event Co-chair Sem Aykanian. “Don's cook on May 22. Instead, come enjoy a casual night out with checkered tablecloths, “celebrity” waiters, Italian music, and fun for the whole family. It is a lot cheaper than traveling to Italy and you will be supporting a good cause.”
